What "free" actually includes

Up to 20 active staff. Unlimited weeks of scheduling. Unlimited shifts per week. As many roles as you want. Web access for every staff member so they see their own schedule on their phone. CSV and PDF exports for payroll. Schedule sharing by email.

No watermark, no "powered by", no upsell modals every time you log in. If you grow past 20 staff, you upgrade. Until then, you don't hear from us.

What you don't get

Multi-venue management. Advanced analytics dashboards. Audit logs. Multiple manager accounts on one venue. These are in the paid plans because they only matter for bigger teams — and bigger teams should pay for them.

You also don't get a sales call, a Customer Success Manager, or onboarding webinars. Those are things software companies invented to justify enterprise prices. You don't need them to schedule a bar.

Why we can do this

Most scheduling SaaS spends 60% of revenue on sales and marketing. They have account executives, a "demo team", a Hubspot pipeline, sponsored Google ads. The free plan is bait — get you in, then squeeze you onto a paid plan.

SuperShift is built lean. No sales team. No paid ads. We sell to one type of customer (small to medium hospitality) at one transparent price. The free plan isn't bait, it's the actual product for half the people who use it. The other half pay $15 a month and that covers the whole operation.

Questions we get a lot

Is the free plan really unlimited in time?

Yes. As long as you stay at or below 20 active staff, you stay on the free plan. No "trial expired" emails, ever.

Do you ask for credit card details to sign up?

No. You sign up with an email and a password. We only ask for payment if you actively choose to upgrade to Pro or Ultra.

What happens if my team grows above 20?

You'll see a notice in the app and your additional staff stay visible until you upgrade. We don't lock you out — we just show you the pricing for the next plan.

Do I have to watch a demo or attend an onboarding call?

No. The whole product is meant to be self-explanatory enough that you build a schedule the first time you log in.
