Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 May 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your experience.

2. How we use cookies

SuperShift uses cookies in two categories: cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to measure how visitors use the site.

How consent works. Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity) load only after you accept cookies in the consent banner. If you decline or ignore it, no analytics cookies are set. This Cookie Policy, together with our Privacy Policy, describes that processing. You can also disable analytics cookies in your browser at any time — see section 5.

Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies, but it loads Google Analytics, which does. The cookie names above are the ones the Google libraries actually create when they execute.

3. Cookie categories

3.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function. They enable core features like authentication, security, and session management. You cannot opt out of essential cookies as the Service will not work without them.

3.2 Functional cookies

These cookies remember your preferences (like theme choice) to provide a more personalized experience. They are not strictly necessary but improve usability.

3.3 Analytics cookies

Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity set cookies that help us understand how visitors find and use the site (page views, sessions, basic device info, plus anonymised session replays from Clarity where on-screen text is masked — no cross-site advertising). They are only set if you accept cookies in the consent banner; you can also block them via your browser as described in section 5.

4. Third-party cookies

Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies when you interact with payment forms. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.

Google's analytics cookies (see section 2) are also third-party in nature. Google's handling of them is described in Google's cookie policy. We do not use any advertising, retargeting or social-media cookies.

5. Managing cookies

A site-wide consent banner is being rolled out which will let you accept or decline analytics cookies in one click; that will become the recommended way to manage your preferences. In the meantime — and at any point thereafter — you can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete existing cookies.
  • Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
  • Set preferences for specific websites.

You can also install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to disable measurement across all sites.

Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using the Service.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
