For bars and pubs

Scheduling a bar is not scheduling an office.

Your shifts start at 6pm and end at 2am. Sometimes 4am on Friday. The bartender you trained last week just texted that he has a wedding Saturday. There's a private event next weekend and you're one body short.

Generic scheduling tools don't get this. They make you think in "morning / afternoon / evening" like you're running a supermarket. SuperShift uses free time slots: a shift starts at 7:30pm and ends at 2am, done. The system handles the math, crosses midnight without breaking, and counts everything correctly for your weekly hours.

Roles a bar actually has

You don't have "team member level 2". You have a bartender, a runner, a barback, a glass collector, and a door host on busy nights. SuperShift lets you create your own roles without diving into a six-tab settings screen.

Each shift gets a role. The week view shows whether your door is staffed Saturday night, or whether you forgot. The classic Sunday morning realisation — "I should have put someone behind the back bar" — stops happening.

The weekend problem

A bar lives off Friday and Saturday night. Your best people, you want to schedule them then. But those same people have lives, and the third Friday in a row is going to start a conversation.

SuperShift shows a weekend-shift counter per person. Not as a hard policy that blocks you — just a small number next to their name, so you can see at a glance whether you've been fair with the rotation.

7pm Friday call-out

The scenario: 7pm Friday, you open at 8, your bartender texts that he's sick. In a spreadsheet: panic, WhatsApp blast to six people, hope.

In SuperShift you open the schedule on your phone, see who's under their hours this week and marked "available tonight", message them from the app. You don't accidentally double-book. You don't lose track of who said yes.

Questions we get a lot

Does it handle shifts that go past midnight?

Yes. A 9pm to 3am shift is one block of six hours, not two pieces. End-of-week totals are correct without manual addition.

Do my bartenders need to install an app?

No. It's a web app on any phone. Login and the schedule shows up.

How much does it cost for a small bar?

Up to 20 active staff: free, no time limit. Above that: $15/month for one venue up to 100 staff.

Can I plan a private event or a holiday differently?

You just add extra shifts on that day. No separate "event mode". A private event is a day with different staffing — that's how the system sees it, and how you see it.

No demo, no commitment. Sign up, add your team, build a Friday-Saturday schedule. Ten minutes start to finish.
